Finding Alazan

Where We Are

Alazan is situated on the Central Pacific Coast, midway between two very popular travel destinations – Jaco and Manuel Antonio. Located in the coastal foothills just 7 km (4.3 miles) inland from the Coastal Highway and under jungle canopy, we enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, the Parrita River Valley, and coastal mountains from Alazan’s hillside perch.

Alazan is a 15-minute drive from the town of Parrita, where one can find supermarkets, internet cafes, banking, gas stations, dining, urgent medical care, and other services. A few more minutes of driving will take you to secluded, picture-perfect beaches. A regional airport, hospital, and new luxury marina are located in Quepos, just 30 minutes south. Another 10 minutes past Quepos brings you to Manuel Antonio, known for its amazing National Park, beaches, and restaurants. Heading 45 minutes in the other direction will take you to Jaco, a popular surfing town and vacation spot that offers Americans many of the amenities of home.
